Some Other Frequently Asked Questions
|
| Q: |
What exactly is a Limited Edition Print? |
A: |
A Limited Edition means that there will never be any more than a certain number of prints sold. If an Edition sells out then no more will be sold, however it is possible that an existing owner might consider selling their print on a private basis. We can broker such purchases by contacting existing owners on behalf of a prospective buyer. |
| Q: |
How are my prints delivered? |
A: |
All prints are securely packaged and delivered by Australia Post. Limited Editions are also fully insured. |
| Q: |
What happens if the print arrives damaged? |
A: |
All prints are packed carefully, but in the unlikely event of damage occuring during transit, the print will simply be replaced at no cost to the buyer. |
| Q: |
How long will my order take to arrive? |
A: |
Allow 4 weeks for the print to be created and shipped. Normally delivery will not take that long, but there is no way of accounting for any shipping and customs delays which are out of our control. |
| Q: |
How long do these prints last? |
A: |
Most current high quality photographic papers are capable of lasting many lifetimes. In practical terms, the print will last almost indefinitely if it is properly framed and displayed. |
| Q: |
Will the print fade in the sun? |
A: |
Yes, as will all art. The print should be correctly framed and displayed in normal, subdued light for maximum life. |
| Q: |
Is the print framed? |
A: |
No, framing is not included. Personal tastes vary greatly in matte colour and frame colour so it is best for the customer to choose their own frames. |
| Q: |
Can the print be supplied framed? |
A: |
Yes, please contact us for advice on framing. |
| Q: |
Can I have a print made in a different size to those listed? |
A: |
Yes, there may be a small surcharge for non-standard sizes but it can certainly be done. Please contact us for more details. |
| Q: |
What can I do if my print becomes damaged in the future? |
A: |
We want your enjoyment of your print to extend over many, many years. If your print gets subsequently damaged, for any reason, you can return the damaged one and buy a new copy of the same numbered image for a modest re-print fee. |
