 I was invited to shoot images for the Aday Project (www.aday.org) on May 15th. I said I couldn't take part because I was flying back from London on that day - they said "So, what's the problem, shoot that" Which is why, with Qantas's kind permission, I was roaming around an Airbus A380 with my M9 during the London - Singapore leg of my journey. I love full moons. This is the biggest (closest) moon of the year taken from Wild Horse Lookout up near the Glasshouse Mountains.

The current crop of inkjet printers, such as the Canon Pixma Pro-1, are capable of making prints to the highest standards. A Canon user for 28 years, Nick Rains will show you how to overcome the steep learning curve involved in mastering DSLR video.

I'm out of China now, in Ho Chi Minh City awaiting the Orion 2 and a workshop onboard as we travel up the coast of Vietnam. The China trip was sensational, we found abandoned villages, old ancestral halls, classic karst scenery and even some obliging cormorant fishermen. These images are quick exports out of Lightroom 4 with just a few basic adjustments to show what we saw, when I get back on April 10 I'll be able to have a better look at them. I'm in China right now running a small workshop in the Guilin region. The weather has been a little unkind with quite a lot of rain and cloud but we have managed to get out and find some decent images. The internet is a little flaky so I have not been able to post much, I thought I'd just put this one up which I am reasonably happy with - it needs a little more work but I like the shapes. More soon....

Christian Fletcher and I will be heading up to the Kimberley in late August and invite you to join us for a multi-day photographic shoot and workshop at Home Valley Station, not too far from Kununurra along the Gibb River Road, where the Cockburn Ranges loom over the Pentecost River crossing.

We will be there from August 31st through to September 4th, that's 5 nights with 4 full shooting days plus an evening shoot on the first evening when the moon will be rising over the towering Cockburn Ranges. We have arranged for two cattle musting shoots, one in the padocks and one in the yards so there should be plenty of opportunity to cpature those classic stockmen images with lots of dust and action.

Christian and I will also be conducting our usual in-depth seminars, but at a slower pace than our weekend intensives. We will do two seminars per day, that's eight in all, plus four dusk and four dawn shoots. There will be lots of time for editing, relaxing and generally hanging out with like-minded photographers but the pace will still be full-on -and so be prepared to get up early and 'live and breathe' photography until you hit your bed 16 hours later. And that's for four full days!

Last month a group of prospective Lieca S2 buyers were invited to try out the cameras and lenses at the Phillip Island racetrack. We didn't tell them they were going to fly down from Melbourne by helicopter, do some aerial photography "doors off" and then get to do parts of the BMW Advanced Driving School. As you'll see from the video, shot by me on a Leica V Lux 3, a great day was had by all.
